It was historic because, as far as I know, it was the first time in the United States that two recipients of the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing procedure have ever played against each other.

 

AH is a 74 year old Yoga Instructor. She has had both hips resurfaced with Mr. Bloomfiield. Her story is posted on Mr. Bloomfields website
