I had hip resurfacing for my left hip in mid October of 2007. Four days ago I ran again - not very far of course and on a trail rather than hard concrete - for the first time in almost 20 years and it felt great!

I am completely pleased thus far with the outcome of my surgery.  My surgeon was Dr. Michael Clarke in Syracuse, NY. I can enthusiastically encourage others to consider this procedure. I can now sleep comfortably on either side, I am gaining flexibility in my left hip that I have not had in years, and I have zero pain.
