I often have people write to me personally for advice and information.  I have been researching the internet for several years to learn about hip resurfacing.  I had my hip resurfaced March 15, 2006 with Dr. De Smet of Belgium.

I have formed many opinions along the way. They are only my opinions from what I have read. I am not trained in any medical field, I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession.  So everything I write about is my opinion based on information I have read.

I am starting to write articles about various subjects related to hip resurfacing to help other people understand some of the information. It is up to each individual to do their own research and ask many questions of a surgeon they are considering using for hip resurfacing. Each person is responsible for their own decision, this website or myself can not make that decision for you.  I hope much of the information available on this website will help you find a solution to your hip problems.
